OAKVILLE, ONTARIO—August 23, 2017—iView Systems® today announced a major iTrak® software upgrade to version 6.1, adding a host of key enhancements that will benefit all users. iTrak customers already have a proven solution capturing millions of incident reports that help save them millions of dollars each year, and now iView is adding three new capabilities that further improve the return on investment:

  1. iView Systems Mobileallows the use of voice automation built into mobile phones and enables iTrak users to quickly capture fast moving incident details at the scene.
  2. Multi-Browser Supportallows virtually any client or device to access iTrak which simplifies management of desktop devices and lowers costs.
  3. iGNet Plusenables setup of private iTrak server networks for the secure sharing of Subjects and Incidents while maintaining established iTrak security, privileges and permissions.

The iTrak 6.1 upgrade also includes the following new and improved features:

  • New FINTRAC status ‘Closed – Filing Not Required’ (for Canadian customers)
  • New Incident Forms’ on the web client
  • New option to unlock locked-out users
  • New ‘Risk Classification’ dropdown in ‘Subject’ entry form
  • Update to ‘Briefing Log’ so that replies automatically set the end date
  • Ability to remote an ‘Active Directory’ account from an iTrak user
  • Outlook 64 bit support with simple MAPI

The new version introduces ‘iView Systems Mobile’ application, allowing users to quickly and easily create Daily Logs and Incident File records into an Enterprise or Lite iTrak system from their mobile device—includes support for Android, iOS and offline mode.

The multi-browser platform support features the ability to access iTrak via the web using Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge, Chrome and Safari—available both in customer hosted and iView’s’ SaaS environments.

iView’s iGNet Plus service provides a secure network infrastructure environment for security and surveillance personnel, enabling existing iTrak and other subscribers to instantly share timely and select incident and subject security and surveillance related information between all or specified subscribers on the network.
